Nexus achieves ATP in Data Center Unified Computing
Nexus has met the rigorous Cisco certified personnel levels required for a ATP - Data Center Unified Computing Partner.
This helps ensure that Nexus' sales and support organizations are better prepared to properly sell, design, install, and support the ATP program specific technology and products.
This is an outstanding accomplishment for Nexus and demonstrates Nexus' desire to develop expertise in the new world of complex networking technologies. New Nexus Solution Center in Irvine Offers Advanced Technologies to Enable Virtualization and Cloud Computing

Regional Center Improves Internal and External Communication with Help from Nexus

Background
The Inland Regional Center (IRC) is one of 21 regional centers throughout California that is mandated through the Lanterman Act to serve individuals with developmental disabilities. Each Regional Center is a private, non-profit corporation that is contracted and governed through the Department of Developmental Services. The Inland Regional Center serves individuals and their families in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
IRC, based in San Bernardino with a branch office in Riverside, relocated to a new 271,000 sq ft headquarters in September 2009. The new campus setting has over 600 employees and serves approximately 23,000 individuals.
Catalyst for Change
IRC’s existing environment was very dated. They were spending too much money maintaining the 10+ year-old Cisco switches and even older Mitel SX PBX. They were also experiencing some issues communicating between sites. They knew there were better solutions available, however due to management being shy of technology, they delayed making any decisions.
