Nexus Attains Two Highly Coveted Achievements in Its Growing Data Center Practice

Nexus, a leading provider of advanced technology and network integration, announced that it achieved Cisco’s Advanced Data Center Networking Infrastructure Certification and has been accepted as an EMC Authorized Services Network Partner. Nexus added Data Center as an Advanced Technology practice in September 2008 and has been rapidly growing mindshare as a leader in the Data Center space ever since.
Nexus is already a top data center networking partner, and now has expanded its data center offering to include: Storage, Back Up, Replication, Recovery, Archiving, High Availability, Business Continuance, Disaster Recovery, and Data Protection. As is the focus in the marketplace, Nexus will leverage green Initiatives to reduce Power/Cooling through Consolidation/Virtualization and Desk Top Thin Provisioning.
Nexus is certified to work with the industry's leading data center technology manufacturers. These partnerships complement Nexus' ability to deliver all of Cisco's network and storage access products. Nexus' certified partner relationships include industry leaders: EMC, Compellent, Dell EqualLogic, Cisco, VMware, APC, Liebert, Microsoft, and HP.
Only three months after launching this practice, Nexus added 12 resources to the data center team, all with extensive knowledge in this space – totaling over 135 years of experience. Nexus finished the year strong with seven deals closing in Q4 2008. With such a strong finish, Nexus has already solidified itself as a “Go-To” and “Focus Partner” for the top three manufacturers in the data center space, which are Cisco, EMC, and VMware.
